About

Mary provides a wealth of expertise in renewable energy, energy storage and electric transport. She advocates for the reduction of anthropogenic methane emissions in Australia, the transition to electric transportation and the uptake of large scale battery storage systems.

Mary has over sixteen years experience in the renewable and clean energy industries. She held the role of Industry Executive of the Australian Energy Storage Alliance from 2014 to 2020, and was also the Conference Advisor for the annual Australian Energy Storage conference.

In 2023, Mary designed and coordinated the first Methane Matters conference stream in Melbourne at All-Energy Australia. This event showcased smart ways to measure and mitigate methane emissions in the energy space, supporting Australia's contribution to the Global Methane Pledge.

Her previous roles included work with Renewable Cities Australia, the Australian Solar Council, All-Energy Australia and she coordinated an Australian government funded program for Building Entrepreneurship in Small Business.

Mary has extensive business experience in her own ventures and a background in IT, and she is active in several groups in Australia, including as past committee member of the Sydney Branch of the Australian Institute of Energy.

Mary holds a Science degree from the Australian National University.
